A survey of 97 spectra of mainly sporadic meteors, for which heliocentric orbits are known, shows three distinct populations of Na-free meteoroids. The cause of the sodium lost is different for each population. I was also found that the sodium abundancevaries among Geminid meteors, what suggests that the meteoroids were not released from the parent body at the same time.

Czech description
Přehlídka spekter 97 převážně sporadických meteorů se známými heliocentrickými drahami ukazuje existenci tří odlišných populací meteoroidů bez sodíku. Příčina ztráty sodíku je pro každou populaci jiná. Bylo také zjištěno, že zastoupení sodíku se liší prorůzné meteory roje Geminidy, což naznačuje, že jejich meteoroidy nebyly z mateřského tělesa uvolněny ve stejnou dobu.
