Resonant period of Free Core Nutation, given by the internal structure of the Earth, is found to be very stable in time. Its apparent observed changes can be ascribed to additional excitations provided by motions of the outer layers of the Earth (atmosphere, oceans).

Rezonanční perioda volné nutace jádra, daná vnitřní stavbou Země, je shledána velice stabilní v čase. Její zdánlivé pozorované změny mohou být připsány dodatečným excitacím, způsobeným pohyby ve vnějších vrstvách Země (atmosféře, oceánech).
