In last several years the manually operated fish-eye cameras in the Czech part of the European fireball Network (EN) have been gradually replaced with the new generation cameras, modern and sophisticated completely autonomous fireball observatories (AFO), which were recently developed in the Czech Republic. The AFO's provide us with more complex data on fireballs we get never before.

Czech description
V několika minulých letech byly postupně nahrazeny původní ručně obsluhované kamery pro fotografování bolidů novou generací moderních a technicky propracovaných plně automatických bolidových stanic, které byly nedávno vyvinuty v České republice. Stručněje popsáno technické řešení, způsob práce a současné rozložení těchto automatických stanic na území ČR. Díky tomuto novému způsobu registrace bolidů došlo k podstatnému zvýšení efektivity pozorování a především kvality a komplexnosti napozorovaných dat.To je demonstrováno na dvou konkrétních případech z nedávné doby.
