Approximate fitting of expanding magnetic clouds: a statistical study

  • Original language description

Magnetic clouds observed during 1995 - 2003 years are fitted using a force-free cylindrical flux rope model that includes magnetic cloud expansion. The distribution of comparison results according expansion velocity shows that the expansion of clouds plays a significant role in MC's inner structure formation.
