    Better Spectra Manipulation in SPLAT-VO

    The current progress in Astroinformatics follows the progress in astronomical instrumentation, that produces large data sets every observing night. This amount of data is more and more processed in automated way, using multiple knowledge discovery and Big Data techniques. However, visual processing of these large spectral data sets is still crucial for many astronomical applications. We present an overview of improvements that are being prepared for SPLAT-VO, the spectral analysis tool with Virtual observatory capabilities. The overview is focused on enhancements of unconventional work with large sets of incoming data, its organization, user experience and more effective use of system resources.
