    Double station observations using analogue video cameras are carried out at the Ondřejov observatory since 1998. nRecently new digital cameras MAIA were developed and introduced. Both systems are based on the same type of nimage intensifier. To evaluate the enhanced properties of the new cameras several simultaneous campaigns with nboth systems were accomplished.
