The workshop was focused on providing the local professional community working mainly in the field of solar physics with lectures and training on how to prepare ALMA observing proposals for the observing Cycle 4. Several topics from a general overview of ALMAncapabilities in the Cycle 4, introduction of solar observing mode, as well as practical training in using the ALMA Observing Tool, CASA simulator and writing a proposal were covered by the Ondrejov ARC node specialists and visiting experts from ESO.
