We present the first near-infrared spectroscopic observations of four southern Galactic early-type, emission-line stars. All objects are B[e] candidates with yet unclear evolutionary state. {Based on the analysis of these observations, we describe} their main spectral features, derive properties of their circumstellar material, and discuss on their possible nature.
