    Code package for processing of 3D models and precomputation of self-shadowing

  • Original language description

    The software package is designed to transform the 3D model (obj format) into the principal axis coordinate system, calculate volume, surface, inertia tensor, centres of mass of individual surfaces, their normals, etc. It also calculates the mutual shadowing of the individual parts of the surface for the irradiation directions in a grid with 1x1 degree resolution. The resulting files produced by this package can be used for subsequent calculation of non-gravitational forces and torques. The programs are written in Fortran 90 and use the gaussj, and gaussjs subroutines from Numerical Recipes.
