  • Original language description

    The exposure to hypobaric hypoxia increased lipid peroxidation in rat brain. We compared the protective effect of tocopherol with the effect of carnitine and phosphocreatine. Rats pre-treated with these substances had lower lipid peroxidation. However, lactate/pyruvate ratio was improved only in rats pre-treated with carnitine or phosphocreatine.
