Membrane properties of rat colonic crypts during early postnatal development.

  • Original language description

Using the whole-cell patch clamp, the developmental changes of Káconductance in rat colonic crypts were studied. It was shown that (1) both colonocyte differentiation and maturation of crypt epithelium are associated with decreasing Káconductance and (2)the heterogeneity of Káconductance along the crypt axis exists already in early postnatal life.
