    The goal of this thesis was to characterize a mechanism of ethanol-induced inhibition of TRPM8 ion channel. Using electrophysiological (patch-clamp) and molecular biology (site-directed mutagenesis) techniques was proved that modulation of ion channel-membrane lipid electrostatic interaction is the the principle of the ethanol-induced blockade

    Cílem této práce bylo objasnění mechanizmu inhibice mentholového receptoru TRPM8 ethanolem. Použitím elektrofyziologických (patch-clamp) a molekulárně-biologických (cílená mutageneze) technik bylo dokázáno, že ethanol blokuje tento iontový kanál ovlivněním jeho elektrostatické interakce s membránově vázanými lipidy
