Impaired hippocampal rhythmogenesis in a mouse model of mesial temporal lobe epilepsy

  • Original language description

Impaired hippocampal rhythmogenesis is described in a model of the mesial temporal epilepsy after cainate application. Theta-frequency oscillations abolished, whereas gamma oscillations persisted both in vivo and in vitro. O-LM interneurons play a key role in the generation of theta rhythm

Poškozená rytmogeneze v hipokampu popsaná na modelu mesiální temporální epilepsie
