Neurons carrying somatic mTOR mutation are involved in HFO genesis in FCD-related epilepsy
Original language description
Our optogenetic data reveal functional connectivity between mTOR mutated neurons in the FCD network. These mutated neurons play a central role in the epileptic phenotype of FCD, as indicated by their active contribution to high frequency oscillations, recognised electrographic markers of the epileptogenic zone.
