Occurences of gold, copper, vanadium and silver minerals in volcanic rocks of the Permo-Carboniferous Basin in the Krkonoše Mts. piedmont area.
Original language description
Copper, gold, vanadium and silver minerals are irregulary dispersed in the melaphyres of the Permo-Carboniferous Krkonoše Piedmont Basin. They are partly accumulated in xenolits of surrouding sedimentary rocks, partly mobilised, replacing silicates or coating or filling cracks sometimes in carbonate or sulphate veins. These minerals are derived from sedimentary rocks, especially those of the Košťálov - Kalná Horizon, but also - in the case of gold occurrences - of the Ploučnice Horizon. A different typeof mineralization is represented by occurrences of cooper on important regional tectonic zones (e. g., branches of Lusatian Fault). Local concentrations of Cu, Au, Ag and V minerals are interesting but their influence on the bulk composition of the volcanic rock is insignificant.
