Original language description
We present conodont data from the Lochkovian of the Požáry section in Barrandian, Czechia (approximate thickness is 80 m). Correlation of the Lochkovian Stage that has been defined in the Barrandian area is not fully satisfactory as regards conodont biozonation and it bears a lot of difficulties. Former ?global? or ?cordilleran? zonation involving hesperius, eurekaensis, delta and pesavis Zones is not applicable in many European sections. The new zonation coined by Valenzuela-Ríos & Murphy (1997) for middle and upper part of the Lochkovian has not yet been tested in many regions, including Barrandian area.

Czech description
V profilu Požáry byla zkoumána konodontová fauna lochkovu (spodní devon). Získaná konodontová společenstva mohou naznačovat buď přítomnost rozsáhlého stratigrafického hiátu (mezery v sedimentaci) ve vyšší části lochkovského souvrství nebo značnou diskrepanci v globální konodontové zonaci stupně lochkov.
