    A new genus Konijnenburgia is introduced for fertile, well preserved ferns of the family Matoniaceae, which were previously assigned to the genus Nathorstia Heer. It is based on Konijnenburgia latifolia (Nathorst) comb. nov. from the Upper Cretaceous ofGreenland.
