A library of functions, written in C, to filter a discrete time series data, like growth bands in corals, stromatoporoid, molluscs, vertebrate bones, etc. Applicable also in cyclostratigraphy, and magnetic-susceptibility stratigraphy. Based loosely on the algorithms described in Weedon, G. 2005: Time-Series Analysis and cyclostratigraphy, 2nd ed., and other published sources. Includes: Filters: RC low-pass filter, simple moving average, simple moving median, simple Hanning 3-point filter; Windows for convolution: rectangular (Dirichlet) 0-1 window, Hamming 0-1 window, Hann 0-1 window, Cosine 0-1 window, Lanczos 0-1 window, Bartlett 0-1 window with zero and nonzero ends, Gaussian 0-1 window, Bartlett?Hann 0-1 window, Blackman 0-1 window, Nuttall window(continuous first derivative), Blackman?Harris window, Blackman?Nuttall window, and Flat top window.
