Original language description
Forty years after C language was serving scientific computing, a redesigned new language "Go" introduced by Google in 2009, preserving the best features of C, and adding some new ideas. In this library we provide functions for common probability distributions, their moments, and random numbers drawn from these distributions. We also provide, as a separate subpackage, functions for Bayesian inference about binomial parameter, normal mean, difference of normal means, and about Poisson parameter: posteriorprobability distributions, samplers, credible intervals, and HPDIs. It aims at advanced users who wish to write their own high-throughput programs (e.g., simulations, posterior probability using resampling, etc.) rather than to use a pre-packaged software. The library is open-source. License is BSD 2-Clause.
