Assessment of velocity anisotropy in rocks
Original language description
Elastic anisotropy of rock samples was studied by means of method of high pressure hydrostatic loading with simultaneous ultrasonic sounding by longitudinal waves. Samples from the same material were also tested by means of acoustic emission during uniaxial loading of cylindrical samples.
