The Plenus Cold Event in NW Bohemia (Bohemian Cretaceous Basin) preliminary results
Original language description
„Plenus cold event“, characterised by temperature fall within OAE2 in the upper Cenomanian, is observed at several localities within the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin (BCB). The belemnites present (Praeactinocamax plenus) were tested (stable and radiogenic isotopes) for the possibility of reconstructing the palaeoenvironment and placing the BCB in a wider context within the Peri-Tethys area.
