We give an elementary iterative construction of an example, similar to that of Hundal, of a cone and a half-space in the Hilbert space, which intersect at the origin, but such that the corresponding sequence of alternating nearest point mappi ngs ( although weakly convergent to zero ) does not converge in norm.

Czech description
Iterativně konstruujeme jednoduchý příklad kužele a nadroviny v Hilbertově prostoru protínajících se pouze v nule s následující vlastností. Když se pro jistý bod v prostoru iterují projekce na tyto dvě konvexní množiny, výsledná posloupnost konverguje slabě, ale nikoliv v normě.
