Stress state for heavy masonry panels with openings

  • Original language description

In this work we study the equilibrium problem for heavy plane bodies made of a no-tension material, subjected to distributed loads on the boundary. Firstly, we consider the case of an half plane and we determine a stress field equilibrated with the bodies forces and the assigned loads on the boundary. Then, the results are applied to the case of panels clamped at the bottom and subjected to distributed loads on the top.
