Original language description
This book presents a collection of contributions presented by their authors during the Workshop held as a part of a thematic summer school on August 25, 2021 within the Prague-Sum series organized repeatedly since 2011. This workshop as well as the whole series of Prague-Sum summer schools is organized by Tomáš Bodnár (Czech Technical University in Prague), Šárka Neˇcasová (Institute of Mathematics of the Czech Academy of Sciences) and Giovanni Paolo Galdi (University of Pittsburgh, USA). The aim of this book is to present several topics from theoretical and applied fluid mechanics to a broader audience than just the participants of the Workshop. The invited speakers have agreed to present their work in the form of short contributions within this edited volume, bringing their current research topics to interested readers. We have chosen contributions dealing with theoretical background of some mathematical models as well as some works showing the potential applications to practical problems.
