  • Original language description

    Investigation of mechanisms of the formation and growth of particles by condensation from the vapor is of principle interest for both different kinds of atmospheric processes and processes of modern technology (e.g. manufacture of nanoparticles). There are two kinds of resistances which take place during the particle growth. The first resistance is related to transfer of vapor molecules to growing particle (of from the evaporating particle) and the second (kinetic) resistance is related to processes taking place at the interface between gas and condensed phases. The adsorption of foreign (admixture of buffer) gases on the phase transition surface can affect the second resistance. The joint influence of mentioned effects on growth (evaporation) of smalldrops is considered in the paper.
