Extraction Equilibrium of Dicarboxylic Acids with Tertiary Amine in Single and Binary Diluents

Result description

The extraction equilibria of aliphatic dicarboxylic acids with solutions of trialkylamine in binary diluents were measured and compared. Oxalic, succinic, dl-malic and d-tartaric acids were used. Trialkylamine TAA with C7 to C9 carbon atom chains was dissolved in octanol-1, methyl-isobutyl ketone and chloroform, or in their binary mixtures with n-heptane. Physical extraction with pure active diluents was also measured. The contribution of physical extraction was significant only in the case of succinicand oxalic acids and with octanol-1 and MIBK as diluents. Various modifications of a mathematical model, incorporating reactions of formation of (1:2), (1:1), (2:1) and (3:1) acid:amine complexes and physical extraction, were used for correlating the equilibrium data.

Rovnováhy extrakce dikarboxylových kyselin terciárními aminy v jednoduchých a binárních ředidlech

  • Czech description

Byly měřeny, a vzájemně porovnávány, rovnováhy extrakce alifatický dikarboxylových kyselin roztoky trialkylaminu v binárních ředidlech. Použity byly kyseliny šťavelová, jantarová, dl-jablečná a vinná.
