    Pulsed CO2 laser-induced and SF6-photosensitized pyrolysis of dimethyl tellurium yields ethane, methane, ethene and propane, and affords chemical vapour deposition of nano-structured crystalline tellurium films that are stable against oxidation on air. Distribution of the gaseous products being different from that in earlier reported conventional pyrolysis is related to the elimination of hot wall effects. The deposited tellurium films are shown as more stable against oxidation than nanostructured amorphous tellurium films deposited previously through UV laser photolysis of dimethyl tellurium

    Pulsním CO2 laserem iniciovaná a SF6-fotosenzibilovaná pyrolýza dimetylteluru vede k tvorbě etanu, metanu, etylenu a propanu a dovoluje chemickou deposici nanstrukturovaných krystalických filmů teluru z plynné fáze. Filmy jsou stabilní vůči oxidaci na vzduchu. Distribuce plynných produktů lišící se od distribuce pro konvenční pyrolýzu je vysvětlena eliminací vlivu horkých stěn. Deponované krystalické Te filmy jsou vůči oxidaci stabilnější než amorfní Te filmy deponované pomocí UV laserově iniciované fotolýzy dimetylteluru
