    Pulsed IR laser-induced decomposition of poly(vinyl acetate) (PVAC) differs remarkably from conventional pyrolysis of PVAC (formation of acetic acid and non-polar carbonaceous residue) by yielding (i) vinyl acetate (low energy channel), (ii) products ofcleavages in the acetate group and (iii) ablatively deposited polar polymeric film containing a half of the initially present acetoxy groups.

  • Czech description

    Pulsní IČ laserově iniciovaný rozklad poly(vinyl acetátu (PVAC) se významně liší od konvenční pyrolýzy PVAC (tvorba octové kyseliny a nepolárního uhlíkového residua) tím, že vede k tvorbě vinylacetátu (nízkoenergetický kanál), k produktům štěpení acetoxyskupin a k ablativní deposici polymerních filmů obsahujících polovinu původně přítomných acetony skupin.
