    Catalyst MoO3/gamma-Al2O3 was prepared by the reaction of alfa-boehmite with molybdic acid in slurry MoO3/H0O followed by calcination. The deposited MoO3 functioned as thermal stabilizer and inhibited sintering of Al2O3 phase during calcination. The catalyst was sulfided and its activity in thiophene hydrodesulfurization was tested;it it exhibited about the same activity aseference industrial MoO3/Al2O3 catalyst.

  • Czech description

    Byly připraveny katalyzátory MoO3/gama Al2O3 reakcí alfa boehmitu s kyselinou molybdenovou v suspenzi MoO3/H2O s následnou kalcinací. Nanesený MoO3 působil jako teplotní stabilizátor textury a zpomaloval sintrování fáze Al2O3 během kalcinace. Katalyzátorbyl sulfidován a byla testována jeho aktivita při hydrodesulfurizaci thiofenu; je jeho aktivita byla stejná jako referenčního katalyzátoru MoO3/Al2O3.
