    Hard Sphere Radial Distribution Function Again

  • Original language description

    A theoretically based functional form for the radial distribution function, g(r), of a fluid of hard spheres is presented and used to obtain an accurate analytic representation. The method makes use of an analytic expression for both the short- and long-range behavior of g(r) obtained from the Percus-Yevick equation in combination with the thermodynamic constraints. Physical arguments then leave only two parameters of g(r) that are to be solved numerically, whereas all remaining ones are taken from theanalytical solution of the Percus-Yevick equation.

    Teoreticky podložené funkcionální vyjádření radiální distribuční funkce je použito k analytickému vystižení této funkce pro tekutinu tuhých koulí. Výraz vychází z řešení Percusovy-Yevickovy rovnice obsahuje pouze tři nastavitelné parametry, které jsou určneny z obecných vazných termodynamických podmínek.
