    Bimetallic CoMo catalysts supported on g-Al2O3 were prepared by the reaction of a?boehmite with molybdic acid in aqueous paste, followed by the reaction with cobalt carbonate and by calcination. The deposited MoO3 functioned as a thermal stabilizer and inhibited sintering of the Al2O3 phase during calcination. The catalysts were sulfided and their activities were tested in hydrodesulfurization of thiophene. They exhibited about the same activity as the reference industrial Mo and CoMo/Al2O3 catalyst.

    Bimetalické CoMo katalyzátory nanesené na gama-Al2O3 byly připraveny reakcí alfa-boehmitu s kyselinou molybdenovou ve vodné pastě, následnou reakcí s karbonátem kobaltu a kalcinací. Nanesený MoO3 sloužil jako tepelný stabilizátor a inhiboval sintraci fáze Al2O3 během kalcinace. Katalyzátory byly sulfidovány a jejich výsledné aktivity testovány hydrodesulfurizací thiofenu. Katalyzátory vykazovaly přibližně stejnou aktivitu jako referenční průmyslové katalyzátory Mo a CoMo/Al2O3.
