IR Laser-Induced Decomposition of Poly(vinyl chloride-co-vinyl acetate): Control of Products by Irradiating Conditions

  • Original language description

IR laser-induced, ablative degradation of poly(vinyl chloride-co-vinyl acetate) was examined under different irradiating conditions and its volatile and solid products were characterized by mass, infrared, Raman, UV and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, electron microscopy. The laser degradation of the copolymer is compared to that poly(vinyl acetate) and poly(vinyl chloride) and revealed as a more efficient process leading to solid films with proportion of Cl- and CH3C(O)O- groups controlled by irradiating conditions.

IČ laserově-iniciovaný rozklad poly(vinyl chloridu-ko-vinyl acetatu): ovlivnění produktů ozařovacími podmínkami

  • Czech description

IČ laserově-iniciovaná degradace poly(vinyl chloridu-ko-vinyl acetátu) byla studována při různých ozařovacích podmínkách a těkavé a pevné produkty byly charakterizovány pomocí hmotnostní, IČ, Raman, UV a fotoelektronové spektroskopie a elektronové mikroskopie. Laserová degradace kopolymeru je porovnána s laserovou degradací poly(vinyl acetátu) and poly(vinyl chloridu) a ukázána jako účinnější proces vedoucí k tvorbě pevných filmů s poměrem Cl a CH3C(O)O- skupin řízeným ozařovacími podmínkami.
