    Characterization of Local Properties of Bubble Bed by Optical Fiber Probes

    Local properties of bubble bed was experimentally characterised by optical fibre probe setups. Single tip optical fibre probe with 3C shape designed by LEGI France has been used. Experiments were carried out in rectangular bubble column with different gas distributors. System air-water was studied. Interest was paid to the effect of the time scale on the results obtained and the data interpretation. Critical time which is necessary to reach statistically stabile results has been found for different depth of bubble bed. Gas holdup profile and bubble velocity profile has been obtained.

    Lokální vlastnosti probublávané vrstvy byly experimentálně charakterizovány pomocí optické sondy. Byla použita jedno-hrotá optická sonda 3C tvaru vyvinutá v laboratořích LEGI ve Francii. Experimenty byly provedeny v hranaté koloně s různými distributoryplynu. Byl studován systém voda vzduch. Důraz byl kladen na časové měřítko a interpretaci získaných primárních dat. Minimální kritický čas potřebný pro získání statisticky stabilních dat byl stanoven pro různé tloušťky probublávané vrstvy. Profily zádržeplynu a profily rychlosti bublin byly také stanoveny.
