    Experimental study has been carried out of hydrogenation of styrene and dicyclopentadiene in a catalytic egg-shell type catalyst reactor under elevated pressure on a pilot plant scale. A mathematical model has been developed of the hydrogenation under periodic variations of the inlet liquid rate.
