Original language description
The paper presents the basic methodology of modelling of induction hardening of ferromagnetic bodies. Beside equations describing the electromagnetic and temperature fields also a theoretically-empirical algorithm is mentioned how to determine highly nonlinear dependence of the convective heat transfer coefficient. The methodology is illustrated on an example.
