    Levitation Heating as a Multiparametric Coupled Problem

    Levitation heating of electrically conductive nonmagnetic bodies (as the first step of their levitation melting) represents a relatively complicated process characterized by mutual interaction of electromagnetic and temperature fields and possibly also by eventual movement of heated body. The paper deals with detailed analysis of two-inductor axisymmetric arrangement with the aim to optimize its configuration and accelerate the heating as much as possible. The problem is solved in the quasi-coupled formulation The theoretical results are illustrated on an example.

    Levitační ohřev elektricky vodivých nemagnetických těles představuje poměrně složitý proces charakterizovaný vzájemnou interakcí elektromagnetického a teplotního pole, případně i pohybem. Příspěvek se zabývá podrobným řešením uspořádání se dvěma induktory s cílem optimalizovat jejich konfiguraci a urychlit ohřev jak je možné. Problém je řešen v kvazisdružené formulaci.
