Conveying of Sand in Newtonian and non-Newtonian Carrier.
Original language description
The aim of this paper is to discuss sand slurry, kaolin slurry and sand-kaolin slurry behaviour. The slurries can change their behaviour from Newtonian to non-Newtonian in depence on the solid phase concentration and composition, content of colloidal particles and internal physico-chemical environment. Flow behaviour of these slurries was experimentally investigated with respect to the solid phase concentration and composition.
