Mutual Contribution of Viscous and Plastic Effects in Viscoplastic Fluids.
Original language description
The notion of a viscoplastic material is inextricably linked with the notion of the so-called yield stress. In the past approximately 15 years this term has been frequently discussed in the literature, and in some papers its very existence is questioned. It can be argued that the background to this discussion relates to the contribution of the individual effects - both viscous and plastic - in any given part of rheogram. Determination of the dominant effect would then be a crucial point in the whole analysis.
