Description of shear viscosity curves with wix semi-empirical model constants.
Original language description
The aim of this contribution is to discuss various hitherto published approaches how to model phenomenologically non-monotonous dependence of viscosity on shear rate or shear stress. As two basic criteria there are chosen a number of model parameters andtheir physical interpretation. Non-uniqueness of the choice of a value corresponding to the location of the initial Newtonian plateau is demonstrated. This problem is roughly adequate to that how to determine a yield stress for viscoplastic materials.
