Arbitrary bed roughness in 3D numerical model of the spherical particle saltation
Result description
The 3D numerical model of spherical particle saltation in channel with rough bed was described. In the model, the great attention was focused to the determination of the contact zone, i.e. the set of the bed points in which the collision of particle withbed is the most probable. For determination of the contact zone two calibration coefficients were introduced. It allowed extending of the model even for the pattern where the size of the bed particles and the saltating particles differs. The geometricalmeaning of the calibration coefficients and their relation with the bed roughness were also determined.

Czech description
Byl popsán 3D numerický model saltačního pohybu kulovité částice v kanále s drsným dnem, velká pozornost byla věnována definici kontaktní zóny, tj. množiny bodů dna v nichž kontakt pohybující se částice se dnem je nejpravděpodobnější. Pro určení kontaktní zóny byly zavedeny dva kalibrační koeficienty, což umožnilo rozšířit model i na případ kanálu, kde částice tvořící dno jsou rozdílné velikosti než pohybující se částice. Byl definován geometrický význam kalibračních koeficientů a jejich vztah k drsnosti dna.
