Measurements of the rheological characteristics (dynamic properties - storage G? and loss G?? moduli and transient uniaxial extensional viscosity) were carried out for pure (linear) metallocene polypropylene (mPP), and processed mPP with (weight percentage of peroxide 0.01%) and without peroxide. For proper determination of a temperature field in the close vicinity of a sample during measurement of elongational viscosity it was necessary to insert two thermocouples into the ARES 2000 oven equipped withthe SER Universal Testing Platform as a transition of these materials from a solid-like state to apparent fluidity is within a couple of degrees. For the branching level characterisation of mPP the XPP model was used. The XPP model was able to fit both steady shear and uniaxial extensional viscosities in a sufficient agreement with the measured data.

Byla provedena měření reologických charakteristik pro tři typy materiálů: čistý (lineární) metallocenový polypropylen (mPP) a zpracovaný mPP s peroxidem a bez peroxidu. Byla ověřena možnost použití XPP modelu pro jednotlivé typy měřených materiálů.
