Unified model for coarse-slurry flow with stationary- and sliding bed
Original language description
The unified model for stratified flows in two regimes is discussed. Sensitivity analysis is carried out to estimate an effect of uncertainty in values of input parameters on predicted values of the hydraulic gradient within a broad range of slurry velocities. Alternative approaches to modeling of solids friction at flow boundaries are tested to show their effect on the hydraulic-gradient prediction using the unified model.
