    V rabote ehksperimental'no byli izucheny processy stolknovenija vrashhajushhikhsja sfericheskikh chastic razlichnykh razmerov i plotnosti (stekljannye, stal'nye i plastikovye shariki diametrom ot 14 do 22 mm) s ploskojj stenojj v dvukh tipakh zhidkosti (voda, silikonovoe maslo). Pri pomoshhi vysokoskorostnojj videosistemy bylo zapisano dvizhenija sharov do i posle stolknovenija. Bylo pokazano, chto koehfficient vosstanovlenija zavisit ot vjazkosti zhidkosti, ot chisla Stoksa shara i ot uglovojj skorostivrashhenija shara. Koehfficient vosstanovlenija umen'shaetsja s uvelicheniem uglovojj skorosti vrashhenija shara i s umen'sheniem chisla Stoksa. Dlja znachenijj chisla Stoksa bolee 3000 koehfficient vosstanovlenija dostigaet svoego maksimuma.
