    Application of standard design methods developed for dilute slurry flow on hydrotransport of dense slurries leads to considerable difference between real (measured) values of pressure losses and result of calculation. A main reason of these differences is that calculation technique does not consider rheological characteristics and parameters, which substantially influence the value of pressure losses. The developed slurry flow model and suggested calculation technique allow determining hydrotransport parameters with error less than 10%.
