Original language description
In the paper several speech spectrum smoothing methods using cepstrum and pseudo-cepstrum windowing are summarized and tested by an experimental vocal tract model excited with variable voiced excitation. Further two new approaches of speech spectrum smoothing are presented. The first one is a direct formant identification method based on the estimation of resonator parameters by solving linear equations. The socond approach uses double resampling of the speech spectrum realized in the frequency domain.
