Capillary optical fibers modified by xerogel layers for chemical detection
Original language description
Xerogel layers based on the tetraethoxysilane and methyltriethoxysilane were applied into cappilaries fibers and microstructure silica fibres. Sensitivity toward vapous of water and toluene in mixture with nitrogen was determinated from spectral responses in the range 1100-1800nm. Experimental results were compared with layers applied on silica fibers.

Detekce chemických látek kapilárními optickými vlákny s xerogerolou vrstvou
