Original language description

The paper introduces two new non-linear methods of frequency scale mapping for transformation of voice characteristics in TTS system using cepstral description of the diphone speech inventory of the male speaker based on the source-filter or the harmonicspeech model. Three new diphone speech inventories corresponding to female, childish and young male voices are created from the original male speech inventory. Listening tests are used for evaluation of voice transformation and quality of synthetic speech.

Článek uvádí dvě nové nelineární metody mapování frekvenční škály pro transformaci charakteristik hlasu v TTS systému používajícím kepstrální popis difonového řečového inventáře mužského mluvčího s kepstrálním nebo harmonickým modelem řeči. Z původního mužského řečového inventáře byli vytvořeny tři nové difonové řečové inventáře odpovídající ženskému, dětskému hlasu a hlasu mladému muže. Na vyhodnocení transformace hlasu a kvality syntetické řeči byli použity poslechové testy
