Original language description

The development and optimization of the method of direct synthesis for the preparation of PbI2 crystals is presented. The investigation of electrical and optical properties of lead iodide is reported. We further report introduction of six rare earth elements as admixtures (Ce, Ho, Gd, Yb, Er and Tb in concentrations 0.05 ? 0.5 at. %.) during synthesis in order to study their influence on the quality of prepared material.

Czech description

Je prezentován vývoj a optimalizace metody přímé syntézy krystalů jodidu olovnatého. Jsou zkoumány elektrické a optické vlastnosti tohoto materiálu. Dále je zavedeno do syntézy 6 prvků vzácných zemin jako příměsí (Ce, Ho, Gd, Yb, Er and Tb o koncentracích 0.05 ? 0.5 at. %.) za účelem studia jejich elektrických a optických vlastností. Materiál byl charakterizován měřením resistivity a nízkoteplotními PL spektry.
