    This paper presents a mid-infrared fiber laser system specifically designed to measure acetone gas concentrations. The setup incorporates a monolithic fiber Bragg grating (FBG) inscribed in Er-doped ZBLAN fiber, created through the plane-by- plane femtosecond laser inscription method and combined with free-space broadband reflection. The system successfully detected acetone vapor in the mid-IR range
