Original language description

Garnet occurs as a significant mineral constituent of felsic garnet-biotite granite in the southern edge of the Třebíč pluton. Two textural groups of garnet were recognized on the basis of their shape and relationship to biotite. Group I garnets are euhedral grains which have no reaction relationship with biotite. Group II garnets form grain aggregates.

Czech description

Granát představuje významnou složku felsitického granátického granitu v jižním cípu třebíčského masivu. V granitu byly nalezeny dva texturní typy granátu lišící se svým tvarem a vztahem k biotitu. Granát I tvoří idiomorfní zrna nemající vztah k biotitu.Granát II tvoří zrnité agregáty.
